Being a holiday destination there is plenty to see and do!
In close range we can list a few:

A visit to Natures Valley is a must. Scenic with safe
beaches and a tidal lagoon that is like a magnet to children.
-
Nearby Kurland offers a five star luxury hotel with
international cuisine and a polo field of world class.
-
Nature trails that one can drive, walk or even cycle
and that allows you to take in the beauty of the Tsitsikama mountains
and wooded mountain slopes.
-
Within 6km you will find yourself on one of South
Africa’s most pristine beaches. Stretching from the Keurbooms to the
Robberg peninsulas. 35km of white sand and sea separated by a nature
reserve that one can only access by boat via the Keurbooms river.
-
The Keurbooms river is a tidal river that promises a
lot of fun to navigate whether by power driven boat, sunset cruises
arranged specially for tourists, sailing boats and even canoes and
rowing boats. One can choose to go up or down river or both. The
former choice will take you on a meandering route between granite
faced gorges reaching up to the sky and culminating in a creek that
can only be entertained by canoe. Down river takes you to the mouth of
the river and the vast Indian ocean with spectacular views of
Plettenberg Bay and a nature reserve enriched with the most amazing
bird life and known for its friendly seagulls.
-
A half-day at Monkey Land is a must. Always
entertaining for the kids and very educational for adults. Many, many
species to view and to learn all about. The other half of the day can
be spent at the nearby Crags Elephant Sanctuary.

coastal village that ranks with the best in the world.
-
One cannot avoid a visit to Storms River. Both to the mouth
to observe the turbulent river enter the ocean and the bridge that spans
