Upper Deck Lower Deck Pub Upstairs Lounge Dining room Main Bedroom

“ Bathed in sun, the two decks looking on to the western landscape, ideal for outdoor entertaining.

A beautiful yellow wood tree on the left passes through both decks to make an unusual feature   against the “A–Frame” gable of the house”

Expansive “L-shaped” upper deck provides in the one instance, a distant view of the western horizon and a nearby view of the green meadows on which the fallow deer roam freely and in the other instance a northern vista that embraces the edge of the indigenous forest and close by the terraced garden with some sixteen varieties of yellow wood trees.

A special feature is the yellow wood tree that passes through the deck and climbs to the apex of the roof providing a natural environment for the wonderful bird life provided by the forest. Great for close-up viewing and photography!

“Lovely spacious lower deck which is accessed from two sliding doors leading off the TV lounge and pub section of the entertainment area.

Great for barbecues and sundowners after a long day on the beach. An outdoor staircase also links the two decks”.

“Now that’s entertainment! A group of guests celebrating another happy day at the lodge.

The designer pub is hand crafted from South African “Wit Els” wood and is a cosy place to just chill out and share a story or two”.

“Sunny and bright lounge with large log fire place for the sometimes chilly evenings.

A more formal place to sit and chat or just steal a quiet moment to relax, read or even catch a snooze.”

“From the lounge you enter the dining area with its beautiful yellow wood table with chairs hand made from a blend of both yellow wood and black wood.

A very social setting that has seen many grand dinner parties and provided hours of good entertainment.”

“A view of the meadows from the main bedroom with sliding door  opening out on to the “Romeo and Juliet” balcony.

Another bright and sunny room complete with TV and a full en-suite bathroom.”
