“Kingfisher Lodge” operates as an idyllic bed and breakfast venue for both local and overseas visitors. It can also be rented out on a self-catering basis. Ideal for large families as it has six double bedrooms with a very social pub and entertainment area.The “Keepers of the inn” per sè, are Stan and Rina Malebysse-Smith, known to all as just Stan and Rina. They are well informed and make an awesome team; their first priority being to look after the guests and orientate them on all that there is to do whilst visiting Plettenberg Bay and surrounds.They are ably supported by Siena Plaatjies whose responsibility it is to service the lodges routinely and attend to any additional chores that visiting guests might need. The common property on the estate is maintained by the Ashland’s Home Owners Association and is under the watchful eye of Joy Renwick who is assisted by “Welcome” and “Koos”.
